Day 4 of the Digital Fluency Intensive (DFI) focused on one of the most essential skills in today’s digital world: dealing with data. As educators, understanding how to collect, organize, analyze, and present data is key to making informed decisions and creating meaningful learning experiences. The session explored practical tools such as Google Maps, Google Sheets, and Google Forms, and highlighted how these can be effectively integrated into the classroom. Google Sheets in particular introduced us to the world of organized data. We explored how to input data, use basic formulas, create charts, and collaborate in real time.

Great work with your quiz – your class is so into their sports, that I am sure they will love doing it – and you can even use the skills you now have to get them to make their own (also great for statistics and them to analyse the graphs they get!)
You have also done well with your graph – it was lots of information to take in!
As educators, we definitely need to know how to analyse data to help us make informed decisions, so I am glad that this learning has helped you feel more confident with that!
